Hariharan puts life into the songs with his melodious voice but the Wadali Brothers nullifies his effort. Wonder why so much Hindi lines are added to this song? Adnan is great for his Hindi numbers but for Tamil he is still not ready. It’s not a techno trance song where words hardly matter. A very good melody somewhat spoiled by Adnan Sami though the brilliant Sujatha tries to save it. Very poetic words in the song elevate the romantic thoughts. This song would have been one of the most cherished melodies of the year had it been sung by a seasoned Tamil singer. Colonial Cousins have missed a great opportunity.

This song is the only pure romantic duet in this album and the shortest. Rain songs usually lend a lot freedom for all to experiment with their creativity and this song is one to prove. Starts slowly to reach the high notes and then meanders touching many different interesting rhythms. Multiple violins show the many shades in love and loneliness.
To sum it up, the Colonial Cousins have done better than their first film ‘Modhi Vilayadu’. But still they aren’t able to touch the right chords in Tamil. They still like to play around with their Indipop style that made them stars up north. With a Hindustani Hariharan and the Western Leslie this duo could have done much better. One good thing in the album is that you can infer the situations the songs will be placed in the film.

Says Ramalath: ‘I have been constantly praying to God to bring back my husband to me. I never expected that Nayanthara would be so arrogant. She used to visit my house regularly and call me ‘Akka’ (meaning sister in English) and used to gift my children with chocolates and more goodies. But I was very much unaware that she would create such a big trouble in our family lives. I was shocked to hear her saying – Please Akka sacrifice your husband for me. How would any women feel on hearing such things? Our eldest son Vishal passed away due to chronic cancer and the very next day, he never showed any concern towards the family and started moving around with her. My Children are so infuriated with her for having cheated them and me. Even they spot her photographs over the magazines; they are tearing it and put off the TV Channels, if any visuals of her appear. They are very much depressed and psychologically affected as they would wake up in the middle of night and ask ‘When Daddy will be back mummy’?’ Ramalath has filed petition at family court and will sooner meet Prabhu Deva-Nayanthara in court. When approached ‘Prabhu Deva-Nayanthara’, they duo’s mobile conveyed the computerized message – The mobile users are out of reach. But their closer sources reveal that they will be present for the hearing at Family Court and will give a better counteract for the Ramalath. Ramalath doesn’t bank her hope on anyone other than her HONESTY AND GOD.

When Kamal Haasan was asked about this, he said,” You have been telling that Rajni and I will be acting in a high budgeted film that is to be produced at a cost of Rs 500 Crores and which will be directed by Shankar.
I have not received any information regarding this. I have not got any message from Shankar regarding this. We are planning to hold the FIKKI Media conference in Hyderabad on 1st and 2nd December.
Two thousand delegates will be participating in this conference. The film industry has been very badly affected because of video piracy. This cannot be prevented by politicians or film people. Only the public can prevent this. This can be prevented only by the people if they decide not to watch pirated DVDs.”

Mamta while speaking about her disease said,” I had cut my hair short when I was acting for a song sequence in the film Anwar. Many thought I had cut my hair short to look beautiful.
But I had cut my hair for chemo therapy. I faced the cancer bravely. It is a tough thing to undergo Chemo therapy and radiation. It is a painful treatment. But without struggle there is no victory. This is life’s philosophy. I don’t look at anything with negativity.”
Rajni to go alone Rishikesh
But this time there is a change in this programme. Rajni is going alone to Rishikesh.There was news earlier that Rajni has brought some property in this area and is going to build an Ashram. Now the work connected with the construction of the Ashram is going to begun.

I am also thankful to Media One Globus producers who produced Chikku Bukku. I will not be stubborn that I will act in sole hero roles. I am ready to do second hero roles if the story and role is good. I am interested in dong all kinds of roles including villain roles. On the whole I should earn the name as the good actor

When I acted in Kalavadia Poluthugal, I did my job with perfection. Everybody told me that Thankar Bachchan is an angry person. But he is a good friend of mine. This film has come out well. Definitely this was a different kind of experience. I acted in this film keeping aside the Prabhu Deva’s commercial image.
I obeyed whatever he said. Though he makes a serious film, he is a jolly good person. The whole shooting spot will be in a jolly mood. Though the film Kalavadia Poluthugal is a serious film, this film will shine like the commercial film Azhagi. I have gave got desire to act once more in his film and at the same time I want to make him act in my film.
I should also make him work hard like he made me do. The film Engeyum Kadhal is a love story. This film is a jolly and cheerful love film. Normally the man will have the love for woman but in this it is the just opposite. A woman loves a man. A girl who lives in France loves a boy who goes from here. The whole film was shot in France. I have almost completed this film.
This film will give a feel of the gentle evening breeze. After this I will be directing a film which will have Vishal in the lead role. Samira Reddy is the heroine of the film. Vijay Anthony composes the music while R D Rajashekar handles the camera. After this I will be directing a Hindi film which will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role.”

Ramya who was acting in a TV serial titled Madurai in Vijay TV has now become an actress of the big screen through the film Mandhira Punnagai which was released recently. When asked her that how she was selected for this film, she said,” Mandhira Punnagai is my first film. Before this I have acted in lots of Ad films. But my role in this film is negative one. Karu Palaniappan who saw my photo in the face book selected me for this role. In the beginning itself he told me that the role was negative one and at the same time he told me to act boldly and I will get good recognition. I was little nervous because this role was negative. But now like the director told me, lots of people are phoning and appreciating me and are telling me that I have acted well. I am really happy now. Many are asking me about my mindset when I did this negative role. In fact I really wept when I acted in a scene. The wife will go away with another person. The husband when he comes to know about this commits suicide. The children who does not know anything searches for their mother. I who was sitting inside at one stage lost control of myself and started weeping really. This kind of incident should never happen in anyone’s life.
