Venkat Prabhu says that only festival songs are hits

Venkat Prabhu is now directing the film Mankatha which has Ajith in the lead role. Venkat Prabhu has so far directed three films and is now doing his fourth film with Ajith. At a time when the shooting of this film is progressing, Prabhu is also busy with the composing of the music with Yuvan Shankar Raja. He has also requested Yuvan Shankar Raja not compose Kuthu song for this film. Recently in a function Venkat Prabhu had mentioned that festival songs were great hits this year than Kuthu songs.
