She was born in may 10 1980. She appeared in tamil, telugu, kanada, malayalam and english. she first came into the limelight after she was crowned Miss surat during the year 1998. she was contestant in the 2001 Mis india Pageant. This publicity opened up doors for her and she did a number of TV commercial like Himani cream and hand soap. she acted a first film in tamil Engal Anna.On 26th october 2010 there was an attempt made at kidnapping her by an fan at Tirchy in Tamilnadu.
